Nina Banfield is a recent New Bern transplant. Nina is originally from “Music City” (Nashville, TN), but has been slowly making her way “down east” since college at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN, and law school at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem. She was fortunately extended an associate attorney position with Harris, Creech, Ward & Blackerby, P.A. here in New Bern in early 2018. Nina has since made New Bern her new home, as she met her husband, a New Bern native, in early 2019.

     Nina began singing in middle school and continued her love of singing throughout high school by participating in choirs and in musicals. While higher education called her away from singing opportunities for a while, she hoped to be part of the theatre community and other musical groups once she settled into New Bern. Nina is so grateful to have been accepted with open arms into the New Bern community, and is delighted to have new and wonderful friendships with her fellow members of Silver Lining Singers.
